They've known for awhile now that they can do literally anything and not suffer at the ballot box anymore. They knew the fix was in when they refused to let Legitimate President Obama select a Supreme Court justice to replace fat Tony and they know that this gutting of the safety net isn't going to hurt them either. They have a death cult of followers who always come out to vote for them no matter what, they have gerrymandering, they have propaganda networks and they have black box, easily hackable, "voting".

It all looks very grim for us and a lot of it is because our side, the side of right, will not get down and dirty the way they do and so we always end up beaten in the end. Look at how they came back after 2006 and 2008. They should have been buried for good and all after the Bush depression but instead they came back and own everything just eight short years later. And Hell, it only took two years after destroying the economy to come back.

They're better at the game than we are because they play a mean game and they play for the kill.
