That was one compelling interview, with Deborah Swackhamer, science professor from U of Minnesota, current chair of an EPA science committee --- talked about how the new EPA team tried to get her to change her testimony to congress, etc.
Essentially, the interview exposed the template that Trump and the GOP congress are using to stack the deck, and not just in the EPA. It was chilling in its implications, and we'd best be paying very close attention.
Holy crap.

(5,801 posts)They're where the billionaires have compounds behind guarded gates and in the best wild lands of the world. Because y'know that's all that matters--that the oligarchs can have clean air and water.
The peasantry is just lucky they are allowed to exist and should be satisfied living in the heavily polluted sacrifice zones of capitalism that make the billionaires' fortunes possible.

(9,314 posts)All the future meetings have been canceled because there are only something like 13 people left. I can't remember the exact numbers but it was something like formerly there were 60. So due to the fact that the numbers have greatly been decreased, all the meetings are no more. Unbelievable.
