Chump tried to blackmail Morning Joe. What's up with that ?

MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski say President Trump and his White House used the possibility of a hit piece in the National Enquirer to threaten them and change their news coverage.
President Trump has a very different account of what happened. "FAKE NEWS," he tweeted during "Morning Joe" Friday morning.
But Scarborough says he has proof of the White House threats -- he replied to Trump and said "I have texts from your top aides and phone records."
And an NBC executive confirmed to CNN that Scarborough kept several colleagues appraised on the alleged threats "contemporaneously." This fact may bolster Scarborough's stunning claim.

Ideally, it would have gone like this:

Trump would "intervene" and prevent any bad press about Mika and Joe from being printed in National Enquirer.

And in exchange, Mika and Joe would become FoxNews super deluxe, not only not discussing anything negative about Trump, but putting out his version of false news to the point where he wouldn't need to Twitter.

"I will always love Donald . . . . "

MAPLES: I will always love him. I will always love Donald. You just don't go through life with someone. I spent a third of my life with this man. We have an amazing 13-year-old daughter. I don't believe in anger and regret. I believe in healing.

A few years ago, Maples told the media that she was going to reveal the true identity of Donald Trump. Then crickets.

Translated:

Marla Maples: I will shut up about who you am and I will dedicate my love for you for eternity.

Donald: Good. Your daughter will be recognized as legitimately as my other four. I will pay for her college AND law school tuitions. And she's still in my Will.

Did she threaten him with something in order to get increased child support or tuition for her daughter?

I wouldn't doubt that she is very much like him.

I consider the Mika and Joe story quite different.
