Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI will use every tool in the box to destroy ReTHUGs and expose their greedy, corrupt self-serving
agenda including fat shaming.
They called President Obama a foreigner who stole the office and even their speaker never stopped them.
The lies they made up about Obama and Hillary Clinton make fat-shaming look like child's play.
Groper Don the Con and Chris Christie are fat slobs but they are also nasty, greedy, racist scumbags.
There I said it.

(34,101 posts)Fat people aren't "tools." They are human beings who are among the few remaining "socially acceptable" targets for bigotry. That should not be acceptable on DU, or in any progresive community.
Feel free to call Trump, et al, nasty, greedy, racist scumbags. Those are character traits - and pretty disgusting ones, at that. They have complete control over whehter they chose to act like decent human beings.
Ridiculing them for being fat inherently ridicules every other fat person. You can't shame someone for being fat without inherently declaring that being fat is shameful, and that is not acceptable.

(269,187 posts)I am dealing with two twisted gluttonous scumbags - the Con and Christie.

(31,405 posts)How appropriate is that for Don, the Con!

I do not have an issue with calling a spade a spade. Gluttony has been considered ill advised throughout many thousands of years and cultures.
And exploring the issue of gluttony raises some interesting questions.
Regardless of your spiritual leanings, gluttony can thus be defined as some kind of excessive consumption that:
harms us physically and psychologically;
isolates us from ourselves and others;
shifts our focus to unhealthy domains and preoccupations; and
wastes resources

(34,101 posts)that makes them collateral damage.
When you stop caring about who else you hurt in your drive to bash Trump, you're behaving no better than those who cast vote for Trump to express their distatste for Clinton - not caring that real people were the collateral damage of that vote. We're supposed to be better than that.

So, I see your point.

(26,656 posts)here's something real. He's a fat, ugly slob, just like Christie. Is that fat shaming? Maybe, but as a bit of a fatty myself, I'm good with it. If it hurts them and the idiots who voted for them, fine. the most recent NRA ad is about as violent as they come and we're worried about fat shaming?

(269,187 posts)There is nothing fake about calling out these greedy, gluttonous scumbags. I will call them what they are - no retreat, no surrender

(7,299 posts)Some obese people have medical issues that have lead to their obesity. Others are obese because their entire attitude is "me,me,me" all the time. That explains Trump and Krispy Kremes to a tee. That is exactly the attitude that led Krispy Kremes to that beach that he denied to the people he works for. It is "me,me,me" and gluttonous behavior all the time with that guy. Keep up the good work.

(269,187 posts)You nailed it - they are gluttons for money, gluttons for power, gluttons for food and neither ever cared or cares who gets hurt or destroyed while they stuff themselves with their self-serving agenda and the crass vulgarity. Fugg 'em!
