Tue Jul 4, 2017, 08:45 PM
Jul 2017

He didn't even know what country he was in much of the time. He toasted the people of Bolivia while in Brazil. He couldn't remember the names of his own cabinet members. He couldn't recognize the only black person on his cabinet. He seemed dazed and confused most of the time when reporters asked him questions off script. He told an obviously fictional story about a Medal of Honor recipient to a group of real Medal of Honor recipients. His excuse about Iran Contra was he didn't know what was going on in his own administration, which was entirely believable.

The scary part is that was at least two years before Reagan's second term was up - how could he keep quiet and leave a senile old man in charge of the country? But here we are, back in the same situation.

One thing on W's behalf - he was raised in a political family and while he was too stupid to understand all the nuances, at least he could pretend well enough to play the part, similar to Reagan.

Nancy got on the blacklist and Ronnie was the man to see about such things. Ronnie had some pull with the powers that be since he was ratting out his union brothers. After a little quid pro quo Nancy wound up pregnant so they had to get married to save both their careers. Word on the street was Nancy could make a man rip the leather off the arms of a Barcalounger, which explains why Sinatra hung around her for so long. It's not as if Ronnie was going to suspect anything even though everyone else knew what was going on.

This is at least the third time something like this has happened in public recently. You are correct, malaise. All snark aside, this is quite terrifying.

Any time a camera is on him, it's not a bad idea to just assume he is performing. Since the camera was zoomed in on him and at an odd angle. There are probably a few black SUV in that convoy. If the left picks up on this as a senior moment or a mental break. Another outlet will quickly release footage showing the line of SUV. He'll then point to the coverage as negative liberal media out to get him.

I also still think there is something mentally wrong with him. He performs for the cameras to cover for his decline. So when his staff sees some strange behavior they can excuse it as just him performing.

Some persons of his age do suffer from symptoms of dementia, which in no way means all, or even most do.

Personally, I've had family fall on all ends of the spectrum for early, traditional and late onset cognitive issues. It's a crapshoot if and when if the genetics aren't there you don't know what to expect. Which is where my family is at.

My sloppy point was, I suspect he's falsely playing it up for effect to lay groundwork for such a defense.

Again, I'm terribly sorry for not being more clear and causing any offense. It wasn't my intention, I swear.

until I watched this video. I don't know much more about it though. It is chilling because I don't think I have ever seen SS agents act in this fashion. Maybe it was different in the 60s before the assassination of JFK.

I found this CSPAN discussion with Clint Hill. I honestly have a difficult time believing him. Those are not the reactions of someone saying "See you, I am going to lunch."

For more on the reasoning, read the books written by Clint Hill who was the SS agent assigned to Jackie. I also read another account from a different agent. Evidently (from what I remember reading) the President didn't want the view of him and the First Lady to be obstructed so he had instructed the agents to not ride on the running boards. They started to anyway and he waved them off. Mr. Hill said in the book that that was one of his biggest regrets that he obeyed the order.

I heard, both orange and red. You know that kind
with frozen sweet colored ice on the outside
and ice cream in the middle. I must admit
it is a dazzling combination, invented apparently
by a distant cousin of Count Basie. No, it doesn't make
sense--unless he imagined it. He is a stupid man, but he did
imagine himself into being President. The ice cream truck
must have been a mirage that only he could see, wavering
in and out of the distance as the shimmering heat currents
rose willy-nilly from the lonely plain of the airport runway. It is
apparently still under investigation.

I once told him that every morning when he left for work, I'd wave good-bye, then go directly into the kitchen to move everything in the cabinets around into a new spot just so he couldn't find things. For a moment, he believed me. Yeah, like I have that much free time.
