Here's a picture of @realDonaldTrump conversing with "everyone" at the G20 talking about Podesta's DNC Emails and the CIA, elves and brownies

A perfect metaphor of the United States right now.

(34,074 posts)Obama wore a US flag pin, as well at G20. Here's one photo from the September 2016 G20 meeting: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/09/05/barack-obama-and-vladimir-putin-hold-blunt-meeting-at-g20/
There's plenty of real garbage to hurl about, without hyping invented controversies.

(14,154 posts).... would lend tr-dump the big bucks like Putin did ~tr-dump would anxiously mix and mingle and be their bestest buddies too.
If you have dirty money you need laundered and promise tr-dump a piece of the action he will sit in your lap and whisper sweet nothings into your ears too.
Money - money - money is what makes tr-dump's world go round. That is all he gives a shit about.

(90,769 posts)Trump isn't intelligent enough to fool the other leaders.
They know what he is.
He knows they know.
He seems afraid and uncertain - confused by his ignorance and insecurities - of how to act, where to move, what to say.
He is out of his depth.
He could only relax, if we want to call it that, in the presence of Putin. Someone who would use Trump's crippling combination of arrogance and ignorance instead of being noticeably offended by them. To Trump, that makes Putin his friend. People that don't mock or are put off by his gross inabilities.
Trump is too stupid - so wrapped up in his ego - to know he is a puppet.

How did you manage to escape and not get one of his fake Time magazine covers? He's littering the lobby with it now. Someone needs to call custodial services.
Did you hear? He actually doesn't believe global warming exists! I heard he is going to join the American Society of Flat Earthers. No really. He thinks there is no gravity too.
Look at him. He plays golf nearly every weekend. I hear he cheats. I wonder what his handicap is besides his brain?
Awwww. I feel kind of sorry for him. His one friend, Vlad, dumped him at the party. #sorrynotsorry

(15,805 posts)Neither respected or admired, Trump has taken the US down with him and the leaders of the world ignore him. He looks lost and is like the querulous old man sitting in the dirty chair outside his trailer. You know the one, the mean old guy who has slipped the tethers of reality, forgets to bathe, and when he's not yelling at the neighbors he even can't remember which door is for the bathroom.

One reason I'd make a lousy presidential candidate: I would not have an American Flag lapel pin every time I went somewhere. If you are president of the USA, chances are that people will know who you are, especially at a G20 summit. I don't need a lapel pin to remind me what country I come from. If I'm president and don't know by now, no stupid lapel pin is going to change that. My pride in my country is not enhanced or solidified by some enameled piece of metal sticking out of my suit.

(1,076 posts)Once again he needs to go.
No one is talking about his business relationships. There may be a reason why no one (journalist) is talking. US lenders won't touch him. He has been using foreign currency for the last 10-15 years.
The russians are blackmailing him. I like to call it have him "by the short hairs".
BUT, more importantly, he has some medical issues. The man does not need to be out of the White House.
The family and the GOP have gone silent, because they don't know what to do. I sympathize with the family for what they are about to experience.
There needs to be a Relief of Command Ceremony.
After watching TV and reading multiple journalistic sources for the last year and a half, it is more apparent he has mental issues. When he is sitting there without interacting with any of the other G20 leaders, he can't relate to anyone in the room. He is challenged, and we have to suffer.
