I'd say much, if not all of, the Republican party is fine with it too (if not in on the whole 'game') since this time it benefited them and they're sadly very much 'party over country' now.

Yes, the authoritarian Russian government helped Trump, and yes, there are strong signs of illegal coordination with them from the Trump campaign. And yes, Comey clearly did his best to damage Hillary Clinton just before the election while keeping dead quiet about Trump's coordination. This is all true.

However in the end, a significant minority of people in the US indicated that they'd rather have a racist, grifting, sex predator leading the nation than a woman who was strongly endorsed by a black President. And others decided to sit on their hands to let this happen. Many of these neo-confederates even self-identify themselves with flags and other symbols of their hatred of the United States.

The problems that foreign enemies cause this nation are dwarfed by the problems caused by the domestic ones.
