1. Had to meet Putin to get script to use about how there was no Russian interference with the 2016 elections. Will be used to slow down, if not halt pending investigations at home.

2. Friendly Polish crowd pre-G20, reminiscent of crowds in Iowa. Makes him think he's a leader.

3. Just showing up reminds everyone that he's the President.

4. To give Ivanka more experience as Leader of the Free World.

5. To get new orders from Putin.
