(32,705 posts)I'm still catching up on the news (I can't believe how much shit has happened over the past 3 days!) but I think there might be some real traction this time. The troubling part is that trump and his goons still have the nuke codes. He needs to be removed. And all his exec. orders need to be reversed. He is a criminal.

They are a politically sinking ship. That is necessary for us considering the ballot box is rigged against us. We need to make sure republicans are tied to Trump as if they are the same.

I keep telling myself that what we, the general public, know is just the tip of the iceberg and this steady drip, drip, drip will turn into a gushing fire hose at some point.
I trust Mueller and his team to stand up for America and democracy at all costs. This I'm VERY hopeful of, even absolutely positive.
Please don't flame me for being naive.

(13,340 posts)Any other time I'd see this as the begnning of the end. But as my wife said last night, we now live in the "nothing matters" era. Unless Congress is willing to act, it doesn't matter. And Gerrrymandering will make it hard to take the House back.
