Wake up call people. The GOP and Trump could easily win again in 2018 and 2020...

So obviously as an outside observer I don't have the stakes in the game you guys do, although to tell you the truth, we kind of do, because you guys are holding the world hostage under Trump. And sure I'm not blaming any single one individual. But I sure as fuck am blaming the status quo and American politics as usual.

Come on guys, fuck this is not just ruining the US, it's destabilizing the world. Sure some countries may emerge stronger. New alliances will be made, the world will step around the US as it decides to step out. And maybe you feel the US is getting its just desserts, fine I'm not going to argue with you there. But the world is still FAR worse off with Trump and cronies.

The democrats need to WAKE THE FUCK UP! Yes I know many have but not as a group. STOP playing to the centre. You know why the GOP won? Because they stopped giving a shit about playing to the centre. I'm not of course arguing they are right. But in this they ARE. You may win elections for a while by being Joe Everybody towards everyone. But sooner or later that is going to come back and bite you in the ass in the form of complacency and disillusionment of your populous.

Because politics is MEANT to be divisive. Politics is about important fucking issues, how we treat each other codified into laws and practices of the land. By it's very nature it's going to be raucous. And I'm a firm believer that for many an issue there IS a definite right and wrong. I happen to believe that for many cases the left wing argument is the right and moral answer. But of course the right wing believe they are in the right.

The difference is that the right wing have stopped pretending long ago that they stand for anything else other than the beliefs of their core. We obviously feel many of those beliefs are racist, sexist, homophobic and just plain immoral and cruel. But of course they don't think that and they are not shy at all on running on those platforms.

Know what? The left wing is fucking sick and tired of having the parties that represent them being too cowardly to acknowledge their own core base. Instead they are willing to sell out almost all their values and beliefs in the name of compromise. THAT'S why voter turn is so unbelievably low, because people have given up hope that anyone represents them, except on the far right.

If you build it they will come. To borrow a corny movie quote. Govern to the left unabashedly, unashamedly, with pride, and the votes will come out.

Because if you guys don't do that, you WILL lose again in 2018 and 2020. I guarantee it. The recent early elections show it to be true.
