You dont hold a meeting w/ 3 high level campaign officials in trump tower and not tell the top dog. This is Donald Trump we're talking about here. I wouldnt be surprised if dont take a sh*t w/out his permission. You're telling me you had that meeting right under his nose and he never knew about it? So either they're lying and he did know, or they didnt tell him to protect him, the whole plausible deniability argument.

(28,876 posts)The chances of him not knowing what the three of them were up to ahead of the meeting approach zero. Particularly as, at this time, they were trying to consolidate around Manafort and push Lewandowski out. Underlings are even more obnoxious about running back to the big dog with every potential development during a power struggle.

(5,815 posts)is in the dark about the meeting. I see him behind a mirror peering into the room while those in the meeting room have no idea he is only inches away from them. He hears every word. Yes, he knows alright. Which explains quite a few of his ad lib quips in the following weeks. Donald knew all of it. And he for damn sure knew "Russia was listening....".
