what about the Russian translator

Last night Lawrence O'Donnell said that the Russian attorney brought a translator with her. Doesn't it make sense for some news outlet to find that person and see what he or she has to say. If the translator is a freelancer in America he or she might be the only objective witness to that meeting.

What do you think?

Could he have been the translator? I don't see any other reason for him to be at the meeting.
