so... when the rethugs claim to be the "Law and Order" party, does that just mean that they will give Law Enforcement more to do?

That's what it looks like.

it will keep making excuses while attacking clinton and obama people and they will force compromise from dems because of their threats to bring dems in under oath and with threats of violence.

a few weeks ago i heard limbaugh complaining that "only republicans are getting shot" - he's usually more subtle than that but the true believers are going to be enough of a problem thanks to constant bullshit from 1000 unchallenged radio stations that dem reps, investigators, witnesses, and judges will be intimidated.

you cant blame it all on ownership either. At one point it seemed like I was the only one listening to Air America it was so weak.
There are plenty of rich liberals who could fund a radio network. if they thought it would succeed, they would have already done it.
And i dont get the lack of support

and the planet will burn before liberal billionaires fix it.

here's the problem -= if some asshole sets up a soapbox across the street from your house and screams all day that your sister's a whore, your brother's a thief, and your ideas are treasonous, and you ignore him, what will happen?

they put asshole liars on every corner and stump in the country 30 years ago.

even if the monopoly was broken up today the alternate reality will  last a long time. but limbaugh is still on most of his stations and still leading the pack. it will help to discredit him and stop ignoring him. he’s largely responsible for trump and needs to be blamed for this disaster and not just the damge trump is doing to the country and democracy but his part in destroying the republican party.

the planet can’t wait for liberal billionaires. it’s too late to compete and ineffective anyway, as they have a 95% monopoly and they protect it.

here are sone things people can do.:

to start, dems have to poll trump support for it — too much analysis ignores the fact that this is actually the talk radio president and most of putin’s trolling piggybacked it. maybe when it shows as the closest association outside of ‘white’. as long as limbaugh and sons continue to make excuses for trump he will keep a lot of the base, the real base.

monitor it — should be easier to automate recording and transcribing the main rw talkers so people can search and study the patterns and repetition. if all of a sudden there’s a spike in, say the word “iran” or “mueller” “deep state” etc, it probably means something. knowing about it before  it becomes reality means not always having to play catch up

credit it — trump needs a RUSH tattoo on his forehead, as do all republican pols and media hacks — they all ride the talk radio bandwagon and feed from the daily smorgasbord of talking points and excuses. preface answers to republican media hacks and politicians with “that’s what limbaugh says but...”

investigate it — how long has putin been using it? did they find a way to feed limbaugh and coordinate with him and others? are any of them being paid  freelance money? exposing the talk radio gods as tools, especially russian tools, would help. Trump guy analyzed 1000s of hrs of RW radio & reported to Trump. To coordinate with Russian ops?

thank all local businesses that advertise on RW radio stations — thank them for trump, trumpcare, global warming, privatization of public education, voter suppression, deregulation, tax breaks for billionaires, etc. it’s easy and fun to listen to a few minutes here and there and get a few  email addresses for thank-you notes that can get to the boss/owners.

include the radio stations in any progressive protests — they may  be better places to protest than capitols — republicans will notice

and to combine a few of those, push the 88 universities that endorse 257 limbaugh stations to stop crapping on their mission statements and start  looking for apolitical alternatives to broadcast sports on — maybe their political science faculties and students can start studying the most dominant political factor in the US the last 30 years. people need to wonder why the unis should drop rw radio. it will start a discussion, gop will freak out, media will notice, and advertisers will flee all

These 88 universities are good places to protest global warming, Trump, everything…

But it is a good thing Aunt Crabby was not looking at Illinois, at the state and local level. We are an equal opportunity state when it comes to corruption and convictions.
