You mean beloved JoePa LIED? Report shows Paterno knew about Sandusky and did jack SHIT.

They're discussing the report on MSNBC right now. Four "Senior Management" people at Penn State, one of them Paterno, all of them KNEW, none of them lifted a finger.

Imagine "senior management" covering up sex crimes against children in their respective organizations just so they don't become public (i.e., no trials) and make their devout adherents "uneasy" ("uneasy" = $$$)

You're right: it is "sick and wrong."

9. I can't imagine what it would be like to work closely with someone all day every day....

that you absolutely know rapes children....unless you've got your own skeletons in your closet you don't want anyone to know about. Really, any normal person wouldn't work with someone knowing what Paterno knew, yet he did every day and even lied about it to people. That's just sick.

is way more important than childhood victims of sexual abuse.

Get with the program, people (as one of my old HS coaches - a real asshole - used to say).

7. The football coach at my high school was EASILY one of the biggest assholes I've ever known

Football was an EXTREME money maker for the school.

This guy got into a cycle of threatening to quit every year.

And every year, the school bought him expensive gifts like motor homes. So he stayed. Until the next year.

I experienced a pretty good degree of that "Penn State Mindset" in my high school years. I can intellectualize how they all rallied around Sandusky. But I can't apply reason to it. It's unforgivable. Paterno's dead, the other three aren't. They should be called on the carpet and exposed for their involvement.
