Republican billionaire megadonor says no more money for GOP because Trump's an 'abortion of a human'

Here’s a heartwarming story about a little billionaire engine that could. Politico is reporting that billionaire GOP donor Mike Fernandez is so unhappy with how the Republican Party is acting these days that he is finished giving money until they get their act together.

“All the Republicans who hide behind the flag and hide behind the church, they don’t have the f------ balls to do what it takes,” Fernandez told POLITICO Florida in a telephone interview on Thursday.

Fernandez, a Miami-area resident, has long been a political rainmaker and donor, spending $3.5 million in ads against Trump in 2016 alone. He has, however, grown disenchanted with the direction of political leaders at both the state and federal level. He left the GOP due to Trump.

I can’t blame him for being angry. But, Mr. Fernandez, how do you really feel?

He called Trump an “abortion of a human being,” and hammered the New York developer in the harshest terms possible.

“If I was the doctor and knew what that baby would do, I’d have made sure it never would have seen the light of day,” he said of the president.

He also said that Florida’s Gov. Rick Scott “is emotionless” and only cares about “self-advancement.” Listen, being a billionaire already makes you a pretty suspect human being. Being a Republican billionaire donor normally makes you one of the heads of the Republican Party. Being against Donald Trump and Rick Scott means you are not entirely insane.

Sounds like whining to me. "They won't pass the legislation I need them to for betterment of my bottom line so I'm not gonna fund them. I'll punish them into doing what I want them to do. "

Does the gop have any members who are responsible for their actions and consistently display it?

you off. Once, when I was apolitical and didn't follow politics very closely, I voted for George HW Bush. THEN, the Repugs put Clarence Thomas in office. That was it for me. I now pay attention, and have never voted for a Repug again. I have found myself moving further and further to the left and wouldn't even dream of voting for those soulless jerks again.

Let this Puerto Rican kid tell you a ugly truth. Yes, the old GOP boys and their ex Dixiecrat comrades let you make money, but they always, always, hated you for being Hispanic. Why do you think Kobach is doing his best to make sure we cannot vote? When the Steve Bannons and Kobachs come in, rets assured, they will take what you have, kill you, and bury you with the very people you despised. America is not a meritocracy, it pretended to be one as long as the archie bunker whites and billionaires got their money, now that they want more, they will take off the mask and replace it with white hoods!

If what he wants is no drama, just tax cuts, I'm not sure this is that great. Perpetuating wealth inequality means we're going to stay in this situation. The destruction of the middle class is what got us here.
