people should ALWAYS double-check the source of any quote they want to post. One of the many things I love about the internet is how things like that are really very easy to do. But do most people bother? No.

I often start to post something here, and then pause to double check my source or my facts. A good third of the time I was wrong. So I correct my post or, somewhat more often, don't post at all. And even then I can get things wrong or get into a disagreement with those here about whatever.

But that sort of egregiously wrong citation should never happen, especially to someone with more than a 7th grade education.

Consider it a qualifying run of alt-fact bullshit.

Many people don't care for literature and most others just don't give a shit.

Only a few fact check it and then faux will be saying you should believe it.

The only ones left are Democrats! We know that everything they say is a lie!

And yes, I don't know what we all did before we could carry around practically all the information in the world (I know I'm exaggerating, but still...) in something the size of a deck of cards. Btw, it was Lee Ann Womack who had a hit with "I Hope you Dance."
