It's schtick- not stick. I think it's Yiddish in origin-such a great language.

She was always calling him the Donald, and I assumed it was because in Czech he would be referred to that way. When I lived in Italy, I referred to myself as "La (my name)" -- which is the way you refer to yourself in Italian.
