Anthony Scaramucci and my old Mercury Monterey

This morning I listened to Anthony Scaramucci substitute endless bulls**t for actual answers to Jake Tapper's questions. I was instantly reminded of the con man who sold me an older Mercury Monterey in the 1970s. Since I was a female with nearly zero knowledge of what all to look for when buying a used Mercury, a guy friend told me to make the seller think I knew what to look for. He said to run my finger around the inside of the tailpipe, then inspect the results by frowning and looking displeased. I did that, but was no match for the smooth talker eager to gain possession of my $400. Long story short, I drove off in the Mercury which failed a state inspection a few days later.

I have no doubt that Scaramucci is that car seller's bulls**tter cousin. While Tapper was in the middle of asking a question, Scaramucci demanded, "TIME OUT!" as he held his two hands in that control-grabbing T formation. Scaramucci didn't want to answer Tapper's questions about Russia any more than the Monterey guy wanted to explain why the break lines looked so odd to me.

Apparently we're going to be treated to a long line of Slicksters. At least they'll help make Trump feel more at home. Must be terrible for Trump to be around all those historical bronze busts and oil painted portraits knowing he's nothing more than a bulls**t Flim-Flam Man.

(Sorry in advance for all the BS mentions, but one can hardly write about Trump or his people without using that word.)
