Donald ("The party's never over until I get there!" ) Trump is thinking: "Now just how should I word this last sentence? . . . How about: 'In addition to the above, and in lieu of them if need be, I also and especially pardon myself for all crimes in the past, present, and future, and all crimes I might cause to happen through a third party, even if they involve the most horrendous felonies like filing false tax returns, money laundering, child rape and/or trafficing, treason, terrorism, and mass homicide.'. . . There, that should cover it."

Same idea as yours, crept you say it better
Who comes away from interaction w/him w/o being terribly damaged?
Can't wait to see what the future holds for for creepy greasy douche head Eddie Munster billionaire and Kelly Anne
They've "got karma," too, and lots of people say, I'm not saying, it's a bitch

I'm afraid there's nos9oft landing from this. Remember the feel of kick in the psychological solar-plexus last November? I've never felt it as bad as after election night, but recently, especially when I hear ways he might get rid of Muller and stop the investigation, I've begun to feel the abrupt, brutal nonsense of that blow more and more.

(19,359 posts)To my ear the second, "Conman-iac," sounds best and I think its stress on the grifter, then showing that to be pathological with "-iac" gives the joke a rise at the end, toward something of greater significance. (I usually don't articulate such decisions. They are intuitive. But just because they are intuitive doesn't mean they don't have a deep logic working in the background.)

(19,359 posts)Never underestimate the intelligence of your readers. (I.e., the readers you would like to have, not mental slugs.)
On edit:
I'll try to push it. It's a smart combination and in the order you (we now) have it, "conmanaic," it ends with the maniac, on a high note as a joke should. Yes, he's a conman, but he's also (more importantly) a maniac.
