9. Yep. As if we shouldn't be talking about the humiliating defeat in the Senate over the ACA.

I swear, the Ds who worry that we can't do two things at once are as bad as the tRumpsters. Both are captivated by an unproven talking point.

Don't forget, we probably aren't aware of a tenth (a 100th?) of the significant material they are investigating. Not everything is in the media, and if a few days go by without feeding our appetites, what that means is absolutely nothing.

Btw, you do know we've gotta kind of spoiled by these near-daily stunning dramatics, right? We need to keep in mind that it's very unlikely we'll ever see anything like this again in our lifetimes.

The hard, plodding work of peeling back the layers goes on. Day in and day out. People that we will never know are working diligently, even as tRump tries his best to make us look at something else. Doesn't matter. The ones looking into his crooked and illegal deeds are still working every day whether we're talking about it or not. Maybe it helps to keep it front and center but regardless of whether it is BREAKING NEWS every hour, the work continues. And that helps take my anxiety down a notch or two.

One day-----SOON, I HOPE--- the breaking news banner is going to come up with news we all want to hear. tRump is being frog marched out of the White House with a long line of others in handcuffs right behind him. Our long national nightmare won't be over---we're in too deep for it to be that simple. But it will be a start and I can finally open that bottle of prosecco I've had chilling since Nov. 8th.

12. As long as Mueller isn't distracted

I'm not too concerned. Domestic issues are where we have the most influence at the moment anyway.

Also, Trump and his team are always good at drawing attention to the awful things they do, so I'm sure it will re-enter the collective consciousness soon enough.
