Republicans have stood for nothing since they turned the keys to the asylum over to the Tea Party

The Trump White House is just a culmination of that capitulation in 2010.

Whatever the Tea Party wanted, they got. So long as they stayed with the Republican Party. It didn't matter what they stood for.

We remember them marching against Obama with their automatic weapons strapped on their backs. We remember the posters with nooses and slanderous remarks. But it didn't matter to the Republicans because they were willing to vote with the Republican Party. A new breed of Republican voters was created.

Now they have taken over the Republican Party and they support Donald Trump. He could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and they would still support him. It doesn't matter what he says or what he does, they are right there by his side.

The Republicans are up shit creek without a paddle. They created this monster and they will reap the whirlwind. They are stuck inside the asylum and there is no way to escape.

from a minority faction. It should be the other way around.

The only explanations I can come up with are:

1) Tea Party donors are generous to non-Tea Party republicans,
2) Threats of primaries from donors of Tea Party republicans, and/or
3) Both

many of the Tea Partiers and try to keep them muzzled? --until he decided that looking into the heart of darkness every day in the House was destroying his soul, and he quit.

Of course he had also acted as mentor to the Senator McCarthy-like, pit bull Nunes and elevated him to a committee chairmanship which Nunes used to batter his "enemies."

But you are right --they are roasting in their own hell, with No Exit in sight.

racists in the DEM party receptive to RW Xtian messages of the GOP. That was the setting of the hard course of the GOP to what it is now.
