This Trump statement accompanying the Russia sanctions bill he just signed

Jennifer Epstein? @jeneps 7m7 minutes ago
From the Trump statement accompanying the signing statement:

...smh. Anybody's guess what his phony, no-tax-return, claims of a 'billion dollar company' has to do with imposing sanctions on Russia.

This isn't a call for another Trump/Putin tete a tete. It's a punishment imposed in response to Russian attacks on our democracy. It's a direct rebuke of Trump's attempts to absolve Russia, and his unilateral surrender to their subversion of our process of elections.

But President Donald Trump is nominating judges — filling a record number of judicial vacancies — who could make that less likely. Trump recently nominated Thomas Farr, a lawyer who defended the North Carolina legislature’s redistricting map and its 2013 voter suppression law, to be a federal judge.

Watch out Congress. And take care who you vote to be federal judges. You might end up looking like a real tea party, sitting around looking pretty and sipping tea while discussing nothing of importance because you don't have the power do much else.

And though he signed this statement, he clearly didn't write all of I t. Still it has his signature whine and bluster all over it. What a turkey.
