Trump seems to be crying out: Impeach me, please!

No one is working harder for the impeachment of Donald Trump than Donald Trump. If we have learned anything about this president, it is that he has a compulsion to be the center of attention. He can’t bear being out of the limelight and will say almost anything — no matter how offensive, outrageous or dishonest it strikes millions of Americans — to keep the public fixated on him. The more he does this, the more he risks impeachment.
...
For months, Trump’s behavior has posed a riddle. Why is he so self-destructive? His constant tweets deepen the country’s divisions, which he promised to heal. The customary explanation is that Trump is playing to his “base,” but recently, this has seemed less convincing. Opinion polls suggest his support has slipped even among loyal backers. (The latest Post-ABC News poll has Trump’s approval rating dropping from 42 percent in April to 36 percent in early July.)

In fact, we’ve been asking the wrong question. It has been widely assumed that Trump’s behavior must reflect some political logic. He is, after all, the nation’s most important politician. His every move must aim to bolster his popularity and agenda. Although this sounds reasonable, it doesn’t fit the facts. Trump’s nonstop outbursts alienate, usually needlessly, countless voters: precisely the people he needs to broaden his support.

But the mystery vanishes once we realize that Trump’s motives, rather than advancing some grand political strategy, are deeply personal. He can’t control himself. In his mind, silence means obscurity, which is unbearable, especially when ending it is only a tweet or two away. It doesn’t matter what he says — whether it is true or false, relevant or irrelevant to the issues — as long as he stirs passions and dominates public discussion.

The job of the adult population is to make SURE someone like him, deeply deranged and disturbed, couldnt get a job cleaning the sidewalk in front of the WH let alone become prez.

But half of this country not only did this unthinkable fucking deranged thing, MOST who did support him MORE now than on election day.

This makes me realize that they are at war with me and the rest of us, a real war.

They want casualties, real casualties.

Trust me on this.

Addicts lose all impulse control, they become fixated on the one thing they crave that soothes their addiction...for some it is sex, others food, still others drugs...for the Shit-Gibbon its attention and adulation.

What he is going to find is that as soon as he is no longer president, there is no fix great enough to replace the amount of attention he is and has been imbibing since January. The presidency is the height of global fame...literally more widely known than anyone else on the planet during their time in office...yet, when they are gone, the fame, cameras and adulation goes with it and nothing will EVER replace that...

If we think Trump is crazy NOW, while he is essentially main-lining fame, just wait until he is out of office (the sooner the better)...he will not survive. I predict he is dead within a month of his removal from office or end of his term. It will be like a heroin addict going clod turkey...painful to watch, excruciating to the victim and one of the worst things he'll ever experience....which makes me smile, just to know that he WILL suffer eventually and it WILL be epic.

center of attention. My biggest fear is that he will never go away. He may not always be the president, but he will continue to torment us until he's six feet under. And then there is his family!

We will be rid of Trump but left with his poisonous offspring for decades...the good news is that they are showing their asses as incompetents by the day and they may leave with nothing but a name and a tattered reputation.

Everything he's done since his unlikely election is attempt to thwart, obfuscate and defile the institutions that would ultimately expose his crimes and adjudicate his punishment.

That's why the press, the judiciary and the intelligence community have been in his crosshairs from day one. He isn't trying to get impeached. He's trying to stay out of prison.

And a lot of those 60 million are too stupid/misinformed/gullible/racist to know better.

9. The Trump trial will be the event of the century. His lawyers will attempt to resign

in protest because he will insist on two things: 1) calling his buddy Puttie as a character witness, and 2) taking the stand to testify personally on his own behalf. The judge will not permit his lawyers, all 27 of them, to resign because their reason is insufficient. Donald will scream that the judge is biased against him be cause he he reads the Sunday NYT. His lead lawyer will commit hari-kari in front of the judge and speak these dying words: "Donald, you promised not to hurt my family." At the end, the judge will issue a directed verdict. Innocent by reason of insanity, and sentenced to time serviced. Why? Because the voters knew he was insane when they reelected him.
