Koch Brothers Move to Back White Houses Tax-Cut Plan

After times of only tepid support for President Donald Trump’s agenda, the billionaire Koch brothers are putting their financial muscle behind the White House’s plan to overhaul U.S. taxes.

Two gatherings in Washington this week mark the start of the push, and the network of conservative advocacy groups controlled by the Kochs has already lined up events in 36 states to make sure members of Congress hear the call for lower taxes when they’re home for their August recess.

The move marks a pivot for the Kochs, who didn’t support Trump in 2016 and have come out against some of his policies. The network -- joined by many of the nation’s retailers -- scored a kill last week when Republican leaders abandoned the so-called border-adjusted tax on domestic sales and imports.

The proposal had driven a wedge between the Koch-affiliated groups and some of their staunchest allies, including BAT advocate House Speaker Paul Ryan.

Note, this so called budget wants to take 500 million out of Medicare , so if you are Medicare like me and 65 million others, then its time to start making some calls and showing up at your senator and congress person town hall and offices, these ass**** will not be satisfied until they get everything that you and I have paid for , they think it is theirs for the taking.

And the corporate media is dropping the ball on this issue, because of the other thing going on ................ this is kinda important also

When is it enough? When???

When the middle class is totally wiped out?

When no government services exist any longer, or a poor shell of what was there?? If anything, government hasn't kept up with the population growth, so government services can't keep up with the demands that a population of over 325+ million American citizens require today.

If they wipe out or hobble social security/medicare, they should repay every dime to all of us who has paid into these systems from day one of our working careers, plus interest.

We should do what the Swiss do, tax the wealth not income, at least 1% of everything they own (starting at over 1 million and above), and exempt everyone else. This would, at the start, a more fair income (wealth) tax, after all, isn't it our property taxes/sales tax, etc. that support the police services, strongest military, infrastructure, etc., that allows the ilk such as the Koch B., etc. to make their obscene amounts/accumulate this wealth?
