Unfortunately after watching the war news, our feline ran off down the block as fast as its little legs could carry it. It knows where to hide and we don't.

It's my great fortune to witness in person a mass extinction event. Seriously, I couldn't have asked for more.

A million years from now everything we humans know is a peculiar layer of trash in the geologic record, and life on earth is reestablishing its ordinary levels of diversity.

Trump, nuclear science, has nothing to do with it. It's all about fossil fuels and the exponential growth of human populations.

This earth as seen many innovative species experience exponential population growth only to crash, sometimes into extinction.

We humans are not the first, nor will we be the last.

Humans are geographically diverse. All humans dying seems unlikely to me.

I do agree with what you are saying. Climate change and disease will wreak havoc on civilization. Nuclear war and destruction of life we share ecosystem with will also.

Civilization will likely collapse. Human population will be decimated. But I believe extinction will take a combination of more that one causal factors.

Hillary Clinton was not pure enough and emails, a possible couple hundred dollar tax cut, a failed president/draft dodger/Russian stooge/criminal with the heat breathing down his neck trying to save his hide, fuck the libs and fear of people that have a non white skin color.

That's about it I guess.

But hey lets look on the bright side.

The cockroaches that will survive and rule the earth after our demise will be much more fair to each other and will not destroy the only home they will ever have unlike the long forgotten insane tribe called humanity.

for me is that I now really value every single day so much more as we truly do not know how much time we got left. If we do go extinct, I prefer it to be quick and painless. Humans are overrated after all. The more developed we are the more capable of self and mass destruction we become. The top of the predators chain (or are we more like prasites). We have overpopulated the Earth that the only way forward is extinction, we are the virus of the universe. We deserve every single thing and more that is happening to us.

By not putting millions of people in the streets everyday, nothing will change.

We could learn from the fall of the wall, the Soviet Union, Poland and Solidarity among others.

Signing online petitions changes nothing. Since we are in fear I suggest we remove Dumps safety net!

By staging the greatest theatrical bombastic apocalyptic threat to humanity the world has ever seen the likes of, he will rain fire and fury on North Korea...tumpf has managed to distract from Muellar, grand jury, manafort--he has managed to carry the narrative into the weekend while continuing his hateful racist policies against nonchristian, nonwhite, and lgbt Americans, immigrants and refugees.

NOW, today he threatens all of us wth the threat of war...invokes fear and hate. According to a list of factors that define fascism (downloaded from DU ) ...and under Trumpf, America is now a fascist country!

An excerpt from FDR's inauguration speech (1932) seems fitting. "So first let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is...fear itself--nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert into advance...)
