I'm an hour south of the CA/OR border, so we go to Medford occasionally for shopping.

A month ago we were up there to visit with family and when we headed south, we decided to go on a "tasting tour". Not wine tasting, as so many of us are accustomed, but a dispensary tour.

Unfortunately, there is no "tasting" involved, but the culture shock was astonishing. Three out of four of these places were like upscale cosmetics or jewelry stores. They are so fancy, with well-groomed and informative professional stuff. And the variety of offerings? Oh my!

I just wanted to share. I never imagined I'd be able to walk into a "pot shop", by some snacks and walk away freely.
