By Chris Peters / World-Herald staff writer Aug 12, 2017 Updated 6 hrs ago
A snow leopard has been born at the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium for the first time since 2006.
Its a baby girl. Born on June 5, she went on display for the first time Friday. The cub will be named at the zoos Zoofari fundraiser in September.
The cubs mother is Rosemary, a 3-year-old who came to Omaha from Idaho Falls Zoo in 2015. Her father, 8-year-old Pasha, came to Omaha from Toronto Zoo in 2012.
The newborn and her parents are the zoos only snow leopards.

A snow leopard got one of them a couple of years ago when he picked up its newborn cub.

Don't know if it was unique to me or not. But thought I'd pass it on. The page loaded and then my computer shut down and rebooted.
