David Duke, the former KKK grand wizard, is unambiguous about what Saturdays alt-right and neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, means to him: Its the fulfillment of President Trumps vision for America.
We are determined to take our country back, Duke said from the rally, calling it a turning point. We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. Thats what we believed in. Thats why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said hes going to take our country back.
The Charlottesville rally is nominally about the removal of a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee rather than anything in the Trump administration. But Duke was an enthusiastic supporter of Trump as far back as the Republican primary in 2016, and Trumps reluctance to disavow that support was, briefly, a big issue.
Duke has remained a faithful Trump supporter since then, insisting that the president-elects policies line up with the former KKK leaders vision for America.

Unfortunately, so do we.

I said that the only way a rejection or retraction means anything is if it comes from Duke.

I wish this was all just a bad dream and we'd wake up to a normal country.

if they own the country let them pay all of the taxes. I'll bring the beer and we can sit and watch all of them work the fields in the summer heat. After all, "we don't want none of them foreigners" taking their jobs.
