"on many sides" Trump "condemns" the hate and violence coming from "many sides".

Got that? The hate is coming from "many sides".

Not just the racists, Trump wants you to know - there's hate and violence "on many sides".

Everyone is doing it, in other words.

There is no one group that can be blamed for the events in Charlottesville. No one group that can be said to be spreading and celebrating their hate.

You're also right, it was to be expected.

I surprised Gorka has not said that the driver of the murder car was a false flag, trying to make Trump and the right look bad. Like he did with the mosque bombing.

If it were unlikely the person would be caught he'd have played that exact angle. Instead they have the person - who from a photo I saw - appears to be a white male. If the person has ties to any RW hate groups that come up Gorka would never be able to use that excuse again.

Gorka says the mosque bombing was possibly a false flag, so no comments about terrorism.

And now today.

You know how Katrina exposed the ugly underbelly of poverty and racism to the world?

Trump and his ilk are exposing that racism and hate even more.

But would talk about hate and violence in general, vague terms. The Far Right feels empowered when the President refuses to clearly condemn them.

Of course, the GOP has relied on racist voters to win elections for the past 50 years, since the Civil Rights era.

I suppose Dubya's "rabbit caught in the headlights" moment of 9/11 might be comparable, but at least he had the self-awareness not to try and speak publicly at that time.

Trump goes out to speak, knowing a car has just ploughed into a crowd, and all he can do is come out with a "both sides are to blame" piece of bullshit? It appears to be something written several hours before, before anyone was seriously injured. It's talking about "children playing" as if it's about a park.
