I think it's going to get much, much worse before it gets better

A nation this big filled with this much hate is not going to get out from underneath the hate without something terrible happening. I think bad times are upon us and much blood will be spilled. Much, much blood.

I think that things are getting worse, not better. I think things will continue to deteriorate.

I just don't think there is anything to be done about the hate, I think the hate has gone to far.

I wish I saw it differently.

We are seeing the beginnings of a civil war or at minimum unrest. How many people support these Nazis and say nothing.

I think we will see some good white people who never think much about institutionalized racism. They will step up and speak out for what is right.

Then, there will be the bigots who will stand on the sidelines and watch as POC and their allies are hit by cars and punched by republican scum. They will say nothing. They will stand on the side of evil.

I think what I am trying to say is that it has to get very bad before nearly everyone takes a side. I think it will get that bad. Trump will be the catalyst.
