Driving home today I heard RW radio talking about Charlottesville - an hour up I64. The host, a Jewish man who did say last week that as much he despised these groups they were right about the Monument part, called them "knuckledragging morons". The first caller sounded like a good old boy BUT his take was that if it was supposed to be a peaceful protest you don't show up with clubs and helmets and shields. He wasn't blaming the cops he was saying that the protestors clearly were going to pick a fight. It only took one to start it. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't call in with my simple question.
