Sure looks like it to me. Time to say goodbye to this temporary President, ladies and gentlemen of the Congress. Give him his walking papers through impeachment and removal, just as soon as you return to DC.
Thanks! We'll appreciate it.

DOJ wants us dead or jailed, putin is gonna be taking our land soon, and Kim wants to nuke us.
But hey, sure as hell better than having the most qualified candidate in history who gave a speech once.

(16,423 posts)Hitler was a run-of-the-mill soldier and blue-collar guy.
After the war, he saw everything crumbling he had fought for.
He needed an enemy, someone to blame, someone to hate, a scapegoat.
He found them: The Communists and the Jews.
Trump?
Trump is a pampered pompous ass.
Trump has not fought and bled for his country.
Hitler was shaped by breakdown, by catastrophe: WWI, the collapse of monarchy, the rise of Communism. Trump has never broken a sweat in his life.
Hitler was a political fanatic to the degree that he even refused to personally profit from his position as Führer. (Someone suggested to him that he should sell commemorative stamps for personal profit, and he refused.) Trump has no political convictions and his Presidency is all about him and how he can make a buck out of it.
While without much formal education, Hitler had a talent as speaker.
(I'm convinced, if Hitler had tried to become actor instead of painter, he would have had a good career and stayed away from politics.)
Trump's talent, while barely capable of the english language, is telling people what they want to hear.
The only thing going for Trump is the american myth that being rich means you're a better person. Without that myth, Trump would never have won.
So far, this "Reich" is a backstabbing administration, barely capable of the day-to-day business of a government, and a bunch of hateful cowards in the streets.

(146,317 posts)The Executive Branch does have considerable power, and Trump is doing his best to maximize that power. The Republican Party is either unwilling or unable to go against him.
I think the "Trumpth Reich" is an appropriate label for what PINO Trump is trying to establish. You might disagree, of course.
