(7,911 posts)Seriously, I don't think there's any company in that list that I buy products from. And that includes Pepsico, Johnson & Johnson, Dow, 3M, and Ford Motor. So there's nothing I can really do in the way of boycotting.

(12,344 posts)For union busting, and for helping send American manufacturing jobs to China in the first place. Ironic they'd even be on a council like this.

(7,911 posts)There's nothing I would buy at Walmart that I can't get someplace else in town. It's a junky store, and I just don't like it. I wouldn't go there even if I wasn't already avoiding it to protest their crappy anti-American business model.
And no, I don't buy anything from Campbell's Soups, either. Canned salt and grease is not my idea of healthy vegan food. I stick to fresh produce, local whenever possible, and stuff I grow at home. No canned, boxed, or factory processed "food".

(7,911 posts)I bought a box of 100 generic (Rite Aid) bandaids 6 years ago and I still have over half of them left.
I went through the 3M consumer products and only found ScotchBrite scrubbers that I buy regularly. I'll switch to a re-usable scrub brush immediately.
