They conspired and plotted to kill hundreds of thousands of American soldiers. They gave orders to put those plans into action. They are responsible for the deaths of American soldiers in uniform.

To honor the people who killed American soldiers is to spit on the graves of American soldiers.

If confederate generals were oh so honor-worthy for standing up for what they believed in and fighting for a cause and whatever, then what were the American soldiers they killed?


In just about any other context, the same right wing nut jobs would blow a gasket at the notion of saying anything remotely negative about American soldiers, but somehow actually killing a few hundred thousand of them is worthy of statues and glory in the history books....
