Showing some spine.
The organizers of events which inspired & led to #charlottesvilleterroristattack are 100% to blame for a number of reasons. 1/6

(27,814 posts)... is busy right now convincing his fellow Republicans to remove Trump from office, he has NO SPINE.
If Rubio wakes up tomorrow morning still supporting Trump - on any level, on any position, on any policy - he is standing up for racism and bigotry.
Words are cheap and, at this point, meaningless without action.

His words went further than many in his party. I wouldn't have expected him to utter them.

(6,137 posts)his words went beyond many democrats even. Spineless Rubio surprised me. It is possible that this affects him more on a personal level being non-white senator in conservative state that chose trump in the primaries. FL has a lot of white supremacists and he sees the changing GOP party in which no non-white person would be able to win primaries anymore. IMO, he really doesn't have a choice as to oppose trump at this poin.

(224 posts)I have communicated my feelings about Trump requesting he support removal of him from office or at the very least Immediate censure by the Congress.
He and a few other Republicans have criticized Trump but at this point THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. They need to do something.
