Is The DOJ Getting Ready To Investigate Anyone Who Protests Trump?

The request for IP addresses of people visiting inauguration protest site is alarming. Will DOJ start going after reports?

And that results in investigation, then they will be hamstrung.

Protest Trump.
Get friends to protest Trump
Make an alias and protest Trump some more.
The Department of Just Us doesn't have an unlimited budget or personnel, so then make it known that they are investigating protesters over fighting Daesh or MS-13
Then protest Trump some more.

So either way, protesting Trump is the way to go.
