In fact the tax cut would be for EVERYONE earning up to the first $250K...even Mitt.

(13,200 posts)Everyone gets a tax break on their first $250,000 of income. The 99% know that they are not being affected if you give them that number. And they won't worry about those who make more. (Unless they are insane Freepers who worship the one percenters.)

(8,660 posts)for multi-million wages, it's hardly worth mentioning, imo. however, they could re-frame by saying the cut is on everyone's first $250,000 of income.
how many of the 1% actually earn wages? most 'earn' through investments and already pay a lower rate than everyone else.
