(115,701 posts)The statement didn't call him out, and it should have. As it is, it's more of the same mealy-mouthed racism-is-bad pronouncements we've been hearing from other GOPers. Meh. I'm waiting for some Republican to come out and slam Trump himself for refusing to reject Nazis (Nazis, FFS!) but I'm not holding my breath.

Paraphrasing but very very close.
W's ideology disproportionately hurt people of color. All conservative ideology does. Never for one second did I think W personally hated me as Trump clearly does. W was just a stupid drunk.
