Most of the country had a relative in WWII. Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle, Aunt, Brother fighting the Nazis and the ideology which was inhuman. Many lost some of those relatives or lived with life changing injuries. Plus the genocide involved. Even the ones left at home had to sacrifice to help fight them.
Now we have a president espousing the very ideology they fought against and died in fighting it. What he did was unthinkable and it can't be walked back or excused in any way. The only answer is to rid us of the trump abomination.
