About the elections in Alabama

I know they are going to have a runoff (or Sessions can reclaim his seat?) but Chuck Todd last comment today was that these Alabama elections could be what the MA elections were for Obama in 2010.

I think that he referred to Scott Brown winning the seat vacated by Ted Kennedy. If so, why would he compare it to Alabama?

Please, I am curious. Don't just throw stones at Chuck Todd.

I hope that there is a good Democratic candidate who is running on serious points beyond bashing Trump.

But we should not get our hopes up and the party should let the Democratic candidate run the race locally.

are pointing out ex-Judge Roy Moore may generate quite a few moderate suburban Republican crossover votes for the Democratic candidate if he is the nominee.

They also mention if Trump seriously despises Ted Cruz, wait until he meets Roy Moore!

this may make it easier in terms of fundraising for the democrat. They need very strong get out the vote campaign. Too many dems in Alabama do not vote.
