Think about it. Romney has been caught red handing having a role in the filing of false statements with SEC. He is trying to have it both ways by saying that he did "not have direct operational control," which is a nuanced variation from his prior claims that he had no role in operating Bain after 1999. Yet, the corporate media does not use the headlines above, which would make the chosen darling of Koch and Adelson look week. The corporate media overlords want to make Romney look strong even when he is looking like a weasley fool. So, instead we have:
"News: Romney demands Obama apology over Bain attacks ."

Or,
"Romney assails Obama over Bain ads"

or
"Romney fires back, lambasting Obama on Bain tenure attacks"

Really? Romney is attacking Obama for trying to hold Romney accountable on issues like his refusal to disclose tax returns or the fact that Romney signed false SEC filings? Can you imagine in 1992 if the news media said, "Bill Clinton Fires Back and Demands Apology From Bush For Raising Lack Of Military Service" or in 2004 with "John Kerry Assails Bush For Swiftboat Ads."
In other words, the corporate media is doing its best to save the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's chosen one, Mitt Romney.
