The online dating site announced the decision via Twitter and followed up by tweeting that there is no room for hate in a place where youre looking for love. The site also asked users to report anyone who appears to be involved in a hate group.
Chief executive Elie Seidman gave a statement to Gizmodo saying, OkCupid has zero tolerance for racism. We make a lot of [decisions] every day that are tough. Banning Christopher Cantwell was not one of them.

So girls, this hunk of a man will be harder to find for dates. So sad.
But luckily you can probably still find him on Wasp.love, the dating site for Traditional Christian, white nationalism, heritage, preservation, Quiverfull, Confederate, Southern Nationalist, Christian Identity, Kinism, alt-right

(269 posts)Yeah, he didn't write that in his profile.
I showed up and this punk rock looking guy with a green mohawk walks in. Not exactly my type, but I'm not the kind of person to judge and walk out. So we grab a coffee and start talking and he launches into this candid confession about being racist... very offensively describing the things he didn't like about black women. Out of nowhere?
After an awkward coffee, I decided it was time to go. I think he asked me something about whether his opinions made me uncomfortable. I told him yes (I was like 22). He tried to give me a ride home and I thought, no fucking way do I want you knowing where I live.
Shortest date of my life.
So yeah... nobody needs to walk into that unexpectedly. Those people are unhinged and dangerous. OKCupid made a good call.
