Emails Just Revealed Trump Family Implicated In $350 Million Fraud Investigation

The link takes you to the article, which itself has links to scribd.com which has the emails.
Some of those are down-loadable, but only if you have an account or you wish to use your Facebook/Twitter/Google id.
worth reading, and making yuor own copy, just in case they disappear, as some of them seem to have done.

It’s beginning to look like Special Counsel Mueller will catch President Trump and his three eldest children committing the first ever reality TV show assisted financial crime, all collaborating in a $350 million dollar bank fraud related to the Trump SoHo Condominium Hotel.

The fraud-riddled Trump SoHo project ultimately failed and was foreclosed upon by lenders in 2014, but its legacy lives on in a byzantine web of lawsuits.

We’ve obtained leaked copies of those emails related to a key lawsuit related to the Trump SoHo – which are embedded below – that outline the Trump family’s complicity in a major financial crime.

They show that Donald Trump and his three eldest children participated in a cover up in order to keep borrowing massive construction loans on the hotel they pitched on NBC’s Apprentice from failing during the financial downturn. The Trump Organization earned $3 million dollars from the fraud just last year alone, even as the hotel’s fortunes have sunk post-election.

Also....anyone surprised by these revelations???

It's easier to prove, more documents are available to prove it
so that removes the argument on the right about collusion and treason etc.

Mueller is federal and Schnidermann is state, either way Trump gets what he deserves

and, illegal money, whether laundering/RICO or illegal campaign funds, targets his whole damn family AND some GOP Congressmen.

I am liking it.

Newspapers have to, usually, have 2 or more reliable sources to print a story.
and, sometimes, they hold onto a story at teh request of the prosecution, so as to not impede an investigation. We have all seen that in movies...

The guys putting stuff online do not have that constraint, and often have excellent sources, as you can see by the emails available in this post.

the Washington journal paper, (not the Washington Journal C-Span channel,) comes up with a lot of early info. I have not posted some of it unless there are good sources in the story, like these emails.

and, i happen to have been following the money laundering bit for some months now, as have quite a few Twitter investigators.

Trump and his spawn do truly believe they are superior to most of the human race.
Trump Jr. has been quoted to that effect.
So they live in a small bubble, seeing themselves as reflected in each other's eyes.

there was a study we all discussed on DU that said incompetent people tend to see themselves as very competent, much much more so than reality says they are.
We have all seen how Trump rejects ideas and facts he disagrees with. He honestly is bewildered why we all react so negatively to him.
He is sorta like the crazy uncle ( in my case, my aunt!) who believes Alex Jones is truthful and space ships are landing all over the place. No way can you convince him/her that is not true, yet they are not so crazy you can justify stuffing them into the loony bin.

There will be the question of precedence, of having a President go to jail.
It is more likely he will do what Nixon did, which is to resign under the serious threat of impeachment.
Then he will fall under New York RICO /money laundering charges, which are substantial.
he is being accused of those crimes at the federal and at the State level.

"Continuity of Government " is a big deal here.

He is done, this past week was too awful for him to have an serious credibility, so now the Republicans are realizing they have to do something. If he continues to piss enough of them off, as he has been doing, they will turn on him, because of the approaching House elections.

The license agreements state how much he will be paid for each year.

from the link:

Former Bayrock executive Jody Kriss sued his former employer and Sater – who was Trump’s business partner and longtime advisor – for operating a criminal enterprise (RICO), committing bank fraud and refusing to pay employee-related bonuses he had earned.

Bank obligations forbid loans to known felons or the companies they operate.

As both a manager and member of Bayrock’s limited liability company which borrowed the money, Felix Sater both owned and operated the Trump SoHo project.

Anyone in the transaction who knew participated in the enterprise and hid that material fact from the bank if they knew about it, becomes the party to a criminal enterprise.

81. At this point I'm not really sure you can say Trump is a fraud

Throughout his career he has promoted his name "brand" as if associating with it brings success which inevitably never comes. The resulting fallout leaves only his investors holding the bag. This exact same business model is then repeated over and over. So perhaps I could have sympathy for someone who invested in him decades ago, but anyone who does so today should damn well know better. It's just more proof that just because you have money, doesn't mean you also have good sense.

87. Plenty of info: books, news, records, etc show he is a fraud; here is one example:

( I have doing a LOT of reading about him)

In 2009, a group of plaintiffs claimed Trump duped them into buying apartments in a Fort Lauderdale, Florida, development by portraying it as one of his projects. The fine print of the dense and legalistic purchase contracts, however, revealed that Trump had agreed only to license his name to the developers, and when the project hit financial snags, he walked away from it.

Snip.........
he faced an array of similar lawsuits because he had licensed his name to developers around the world for projects that later collapsed. In each case, Trump had marketed the developments as his own, a claim contradicted by the sales contracts.

From a Newsweek article describing all the methods Trump has used over the years to delay numerous lawsuits, including destroying evidence.

88. It's just that when you've been a fraud for so long, the word should be out by now.

84. What's with all the misspelled words? I think these emails are fake

For example Felix Sater's name is incorrectly spelled on the emails.

Why would somebody misspell their own name on their own email? It looks very fishy.
(Satter instead of Sater)

I haven't read the entire bunch of emails but just in the first couple of paragraphs I can see 3 or 4 glaring errors.
By the way I do have a Scribd account, so I was able to down load the entire document.

Just sayin'
