The Supergirl Cosplayer Who Went To Charlottesville. Guess Whose Side She Was On?

https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/08/18/supergirl-cosplayer-went-charlottesville-guess-whose-side/

This is Alisa Norris, a well-known cosplayer, also known as Alisa Kiss, who has appeared in costume at many comic con-style events over the years, as many characters – though Supergirl appears more than others – and has a strong following on social media. She has extended that appeal into other areas of her business.

But then she talked about going to Charlottesville for the marches the other day. Nothing unusual about that, many people have. But it seems she wasn’t on the side one might expect to find Supergirl. And she had some things she wanted to say about the counter-protestors there, replying to a post by Rodney M Hall.

First she denies being at the march, but then says she attended the protest and the speeches. It was just an "adventure", she says, parroting the standard Republican tropes about a witch hunt, the evil MSP and crying victimhood.

She pleads that she didn't know anything, but she knew "Southern Nationalists" and she knew enough to criticise Charlottesville's black vice mayor, Wes Bellamy, who wanted the statues removed.

She's out now, so taker her down. Ruin her brand and destroy her cosplay business because 'Supergirl' was not a Nazi sympathizer!

We fought a war over that. Those guys lost. Don't be those guys, Alisa.

anything about our history or the real world.

Yup. Got one of those in the white house, now.

The comment says "don't let it undermine who you are." But that's the point: They're not being themselves: They're pretending to be other people.

They are going well out of their way to NOT be who they are.

Hello?!?! Reality?? Rationality???

Society is going to allow you to pretend until people die, or died defending the monster you are now portraying.

This is entitled eternal irresponsibility. These are permanent children. Maybe that's the explanation to all of this and trumpism: They're all whining toddlers who will ruin anyone who doesn't let them have their way.
