It has made me a little happier --- because I lost one of my sweet doggies this past Monday.

Brrrrr

We've got a water dog. But our husky doesn't even like to get his feet wet. He looks like he's walking across hot coals if the grass or pavement is wet.

Here's a cleaner link to the story...

Generally you can remove the first question mark and everything following it. Sometimes all that stuff is used for social media tracking, sometimes it's been tacked on to adapt a page to a specific browser or language, sometimes both.

Coming from a long, long line of ancient dogs who were bred, not for appearance but for performance, they are incredibly tough, free from most of the genetic and physical defects common in show bred animals and are as about as athletic as they come. I've seen some climb trees like a cat, they can swim like a Lab and can run really, really fast.

They also tend to pursue any given task with a tenacity that's down right spooky.

You have to be careful with them around other animals and more than one owner has found out the hard way that they don't have to be "trained" to fight - because they are born to it. Quite the opposite they must be trained NOT to fight. But, as one can see from the article, socialization to dogs (and other animals) is more than possible.

They love absolutely people and make great pets for owners willy to take the time
