Social Security Checks Could Be Late. Trump Shutting Down Government By Neglect.

Just on Hartmann right now is that Trump and the GOP want to cut Social Security staff by 25%. The agency is understaffed and will likely understaffing will get worse. 49,000 opening at Veterans Administration unfilled even though funded. State Department very understaffed. And the rest of the government will continue to grow more anemic as we go forward because of hiring freeze.

It looks like it is possible that money will not be used even if there is funding for our federal agencies. Remember the Trump Cabinet is in place to dismantle our federal system. The aim is to PROFITIZE (privatize) many federal jobs by turning them over to corporations not necessarily with companies in the US. The Trump agenda is to turn over a lot of federal work over to the states .

Right now there is a fight going on in Tennessee because the GOP there even wants to contract with foreign corporations to do state jobs while laying off American citizens. So what is to keep a Chinese company from doing your Social Security check?

already have the money allocated to them. @IMPOTUS is doing it to "help the budget". Congress and other groups have to work to gather the info on who was allocated how much. That way they can begin to stop him.

They have a lot on their plates...too bad the GOP is putting party over country. Within a year we won't have a country to put a party over (any party).

back in hindsight how I heard so many comments in my local paper online from supposed republicans calling to privatize everything (first started with privatizing the electric company) starting prior to the campaign. Now Im thinking these were seeds planted/brain washing by russian actors/bots.

Privatizing is NEVER a good thing, nevermind from a foreign country. For so many reasons.

And he'll get a big bonus for cutting costs and selling off assets. Of course, what else could a significant tax cut for the .5% be considered other than a bonus paid for by other taxpayer dollars.

Simplistic way of looking at it, true. But considering the "intelligence" of most of the over-privileged GOP hierarchy, what other way is there to think they look at the situation?
