solar eclipse.




(ABC News coverage of the last US solar eclipse in Feb. of 1979. Frank Reynolds says at the end of the report that the next solar eclipse will be August 21, 2017 and he says "May the shadow of the moon fall on a world at peace" in 38 years. )

I remember watching the eclipse of February 26, 1979 when I was just a middle schooler. It was a 80 pct partial for me.

The world as changed a lot, some for the better and some not.
