Bay Area Activists

Are there efforts under way to follow the example of Wunsiedel's brilliant response to neo-nazi invasion of their town in response to upcoming hate rallies in the Bay Area?

Looks like it has caught on in Boston, but based on photos and updates coming out of Boston, it doesn't look like activists have been able to turn the "event" into a extremely visible anti-alt-right fund raiser. I wonder if there is enough time between now and the hate rallies in SF and Berkeley on 8/26 and 27 to get something underway and make a more visible showing that makes it crystal clear to every hateful attendee that they their presence is raising $xx dollars (whatever is collectively pledged) for an anti-hate cause. (I'd like to see money raised for Southern Poverty Law Center, but whatever the cause, it would be great if money was raised for a single organization so that the dollar total isn't "diluted" across too many causes.)
