So last December a DUer suggested that we buy copies of that month's MAD Magazine

I found one at Miami airport.
So there I am a while ago, dusting magazines in my basket and you know what happens - you dust, you turn pages and you start reading again. This one was worth it.

Look what I found in the Maim that tune Dept. of MAD. I read it last year and put it away but this was so effin' accurate, I am in awe of MAD.

"Imagine" rewritten by Donald Trump

Imagine there's no Muslims
It isn't hard to do
No blacks or lib'rals
And no Hispanics too
Imagine just one country
White like me and you...whoo-hoo-oo!

Imagine no more gun laws
"Yuge" tax cuts for the rich
No reason to be PC
Call every woman "bitch"
Imagine no more free press
Hillary in jail...whoo-hoo-oo!

You might say I'm a fascist
A mad demagogue time-bomb
Like tyrants I admire
Stalin, Putin and Saddam

Imagine there's a big wall
For all the world to see
No one can leave or enter
Unless approved by me
Imagine the next world war
Started by my tweet...whoo-hoo-oo!

You might say I'm a racist
Who cares only for white men
You now know what I mean by
"Make America Great Again"

---------------------
Damn MAD is great

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

On my decedent camping trips, I like to purchase a copy along with a parcel of tabloids for high entertainment.

Color started appearing at some point. I may be wrong, but I remember it being entirely black and white pen drawings with a slick color cover.

1969?....Hmm...I may be the only person in the United States that doesn't remember the moon landing, but I sure remember R Crumb's Zap comix.

Early on, us kids handled Mad magazine like it was contraband, years before we even learned the word.

We'd get all the comics but no Mad magazines so I guess it was contraband

I'm thinking "Spy vs. Spy" might be a good training manual for us now that Orange Cheat-o is so chummy with Vlad!
