Woman Kept Boyfriend's Corpse in House to Watch NASCAR (and it's not in FL)

JACKSON, Mich. (KTLA) -- A 72-year old woman is being investigated after the discovery of the mummified remains of a man found in her home.

According to Chase, Zigler passed away about 18 months ago.

Chase acknowledged to reporters she should have called authorities when Zigler died, but said she wasn’t ready to let go and didn’t want to be alone.

For more than a year after he died, Chase cleaned him, talked to him and watched NASCAR races on TV with him, mlive.com reported.

I feel so bad for her. They should have community centers all over the nation in droves for the elderly.

Also, this occurred in a state called Not Florida. If it had been Florida, the outcome would have been much different unless they had one of those fancy air conditioners that remove humidity.

My top two shitty states in the nation.

On a more serious note. This is a heartbreaking story. I feel bad for her.
